How to link a featured video or image to a specific product on OMNI Android computers

  • PLEASE NOTE: Featured videos should be at least 720p. Full HD video is supported but will require more memory and CPU to play. Supported file formats are .avi, .mpeg4, .mp4, .wmv, .mkv, .flv.
  • PLEASE NOTE: Featured images should be at least 1080x608px and MUST be 16×9 ratio or will be distorted. Supported file formats are .jpeg, .png, .jpg.
    1. Copy & paste the video/photo file to the “TcnFolder > VideoAndImageAds” folder
    2. Turn the machine off and back on
    3. Close the door fully (you don’t need to lock it)
    4. Wait for your products to appear on the touchscreen again.
    5. Log into the vending app’s admin
    6. Go to “Slots Management”
    7. Select the slot of the product you wish to update.
    8. Select the “gallery” button to the right of “Advert”
    9. Find the image or video, select it, and press “confirm”
    10. Press “Confirm” at the bottom of the slot screen to save your edits
    11. To change the length of time a customer has to buy in order to accommodate the length of the featured media, change the “Pay effective time” setting in “Information Settings.” (we do not recommend featured videos over 30 seconds).
    12. After updating all featured videos/media needing to be updated, press back until you see the main shopping screen and verify that the correct image files are now showing for the correct slot.
