How to Trouble Shoot the Bill and Coin Reader on your Duravend Machine

If your machine stops accepting coins, please follow these troubleshooting steps:

1. Does your coin mech show an error (flashing LEDs)?
   1. Consult the error guide next to the lights for the meaning of the LED flashing error code.
2. Check the Coin Discriminator for a blocked coin.
3. Is the coin return arm pressing on the white button on the coin mech?
   1. The machine’s coin return button arm plate may have become bent or a spring may have broken or come loose.
   2. Ensure there is a space between the coin return plate and the white lever/arm on the coin mech.

If your machine stops accepting bills, please follow these troubleshooting steps:

1. Does the machine’s motherboard think it it out of coins?
   1. Prefill the coins as described in How to Set Up Your Duravend.
2. Check to see that the bill acceptor is physically clean.
   1. Clean the bill acceptor once every 30 days.
