How to set up your DVS Duravend Machine

  1. Remove the manual, legs and keys from the main product door.
  2. Remove machine from skid.
    1. With another person’s help, place your feet in front of the pallet.
    2. Working alternately, shimmy the machine off the pallet on one side
    3. Screw in two legs.
    4. Continue to shimmy the machine off the pallet until the machine can be tipped back onto the legs.
    5. Push the pallet towards the last (4th) leg and lean the machine back into the pallet.
    6. Screw in the 3rd leg.
    7. Shimmy the 4th corner of the machine off the pallet and attach the 4th leg.
    8. Once the 4th leg is attached, with the help of another person, push the machine back onto two legs.
    9. Remove the pallet and set the machine down on all 4 legs.
    10. Use a pallet jack to move the machine into it’s final location.
  3. Remove the zip-ties from the power cord.
  4. Let the machine sit for at least 4-24 hours after being tipped.
  5. Plug the machine into a surge protector (required).
    1. Please unplug the machine if you are every disconnecting or connecting anything inside the machine.
  6. Once powered up, let the machine finish it’s self-check. 
  7. Open the door to put the machine into “Service Mode”.
    1. Enter your password (default is “000000”).
  8. Prefill your machine’s coins through the coin slot:
    1. Arrow down to “Cash Prefill” and fill the machine with coins.
    2. Add coins until your coin tubes are 2/3 full. The machine should be registering each coin you insert.
    3. When done, hit the “enter” key.
    4. If the lights aren’t lit on the bill validator, the motherboard doesn’t think you have enough change in the coin tubes.
