How to batch update your machine using a USB database

    1. Locate the “USB Files” folder issued by tech support
    2. Open the “tcn_product.xlsx” spreadsheet in Excel or other spreadsheet editor
    3. Make any edits you need to the corresponding cells
      1. PLEASE NOTE: you may NOT USE any italics, bold, special characters (ASCII printable characters ONLY), or other text formatting (i.e. subscript).
      2. Please keep “product name”to 20 characters or less, including spaces.
      3. Please keep “product introduction” to:
        1. 200 characters on the ELITE and VISTA
        2. 100 characters on the PRO
        3. The “product description” field does not display on the COMPACT.
      4. All product image file names must be exactly the same as the filenames found in the “USB Files > TcnImageGoods” folder
      5. All video and media files names must be exactly the same as the filenames found in the “USB Files > TcnVideoAndImageAd” folder
      6. If you are changing or adding images or linked videos/media remember to copy/paste the files into their corresponding folders in “USB Files”.
        1. Product images and product detail images are saved in the “USB Files > TcnImageGoods” folder.
        2. Featured videos and featured images are saved in the “USB Files > TcnVideoAndImageAd” folder.
    4. If you want us to verify your edits, please email the tcn_product.xlsx file to tech@discountvendingstore.com
    5. Plug the USB drive into the Android computer
    6. If the database is formatted correctly, the computer will power off automatically, restart and the slot information should start importing when the vending app launches.
      1. In the event that the import does NOT automatically begin upon inserting the USB, turn off the machine and power back on, and close the door. When the vending app loads it should start the import.
    7. The import process is complete when the screen says, “cargo information preservation” and that notice disappears. DO NOT REMOVE THE USB OR POWER OFF THE COMPUTER BEFORE THIS MESSAGE IS DISPLAYED.
